King was born Christmas Day 2018, and ever since then he has been by my side through countless training classes, multiple certifications, and hiking across the United States. As a result of an immense amount of travel together, we have so many places that we want to share with you, including tips and products that will help you and your pet enjoy those such places!
About Us:
King (as translated by Hayden)
A pure-bred golden retriever weighing just over 100lbs and an all around sweet boy who sometimes forgets his own size. He loves adventures, beach days, river hikes, paddle-boarding and curling up outside with a good view. His favorite treats are peanut butter and frozen bananas, but any good boy will tell you, “A 'naners a 'naner!" He is most comfortable by his dad’s side. He loves his golden hour walks around the neighborhood where he catches up on all the dog gossip. King takes pride in asserting his dominance within the house by pulling the stuffing out of his toys and leaving it out on display for all to see. He can sometimes be found lost in thought, ponding over that perfect stick that got away.
Hayden (as translated by King)
A three year old (27 in hooman years) wilderness enthusiast with a geek side. Dad enjoys anything fitness related, from working out in the gym to tough hikes though the mountains, and not to throw my own bone but he’ll never find a better trainer than me. I think he works in the film industry but I’m not exactly sure since he’s yet to take me in for the Bring Your Son to Work Day. After a trip to Argentina, he decided to adopt a vegan lifestyle, which I think is some up-and-coming religion, and has been one since he was 12 hooman years old. Hayden is also an adrenaline seeker, sometimes even jumping out of perfectly good planes or off of sturdy bridges attached to a big rubber band, but I’ve yet to see him chase any squirrels up a tree. 🐾
